Translation & Transcreation in the Contemporary Curatorial Practice is a research-based publication inspired by Haroldo de Campos’s theory of translation as active interpretation. Considering the curator as a translator, it explored reinterpretation and mediation in exhibitions through a dual-text structure with collaged cut-outs, emphasising translation as a curatorial act and aligning the role of curators with that of editors and artists.
